The drum is the main component of the bamboo rotary drum dryer, designed in either a single-layer or three-layer configuration to accommodate different factory floor spaces. The drum is driven by a variable-frequency motor, allowing for flexible adjustment of the rotation speed. The drum wall is 8 mm thick, making it resistant to high temperatures and wear, and ensuring a long service life.

This unit is installed downstream of the bamboo drying equipment and assists in the drying process and rapid material discharge. It uses airflow to lift or discharge the material. Each fan is equipped with a filter to prevent material and dust from escaping. Fans used with three-layer drum dryers are typically larger in size.

Can fresh bamboo with a high moisture content be dried to 10–15%?

For bamboo pelletisation projects, bamboo strips or whole bamboo stalks need to be crushed into a powdery or sawdust-like consistency of approximately 3–5 mm to facilitate pelletisation. If you require processed products that retain the original fibrous texture, a belt dryer can be configured. Without crushing, the dried bamboo retains its colour and quality.
Can bamboo dryer machine use bamboo shavings or bamboo powder as fuel?
