The slicing chamber housing is made of high-strength steel plate and is formed by welding. The main structure consists of two sets of cutting blades inside. Both the rotating blades and the stationary blades are made of 6GrW2Si steel. They have also undergone a quenching process, making them more efficient and wear-resistant when processing bamboo.

Does bamboo must be chipped before being crushed?

Bamboo is both high in fiber and hard, making it difficult to crush directly. However, we offer a multifunctional wood chipper that can directly crush whole bamboo stalks into bamboo chips. It also supports screen replacement, with the final product size ranging from 0.5 to 30 mm. For large-scale applications, running a chipper and a crusher together can increase output per unit. Chips processed from bamboo can be used directly for fuel or further crushed into a finer powder. This combination offers greater flexibility.
What is the difference between a bamboo chipper and a bamboo shredder?

They produce different results. A chipper processes large-diameter bamboo into uniform chips. This is better suited for subsequent crushing to produce standardized bamboo pellets. A shredder, on the other hand, directly breaks bamboo down into irregular pieces of about 3 cm. These can be used directly for combustion or other recycling applications. They are generally not suitable for pelletizing projects.
